Terms & Conditions

By registering an account on Teamz (the "Service") you agree to be bound by and to abide by the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”).

1. Accessing and using the Service

  • 1.1 The rules for playing Teamz can be found within the game itself. Such rules form part of these Terms and you agree that you shall comply with them. Teamz reserves the right to amend the rules where it considers it necessary to do so. Teamz is not liable to you for any loss as a result of any such change.
  • 1.2 Teamz will be the sole decision-maker of any matter of interpretation of the rules.
  • 1.3 You are responsible for the internet connection and/or mobile charges that you may incur for accessing and/or using the Service.
  • 1.4 Teamz reserves the right to close entry to the Service at any time, either temporarily or permanently, without prior warning.
  • 1.5 There may be times when the Service or any part of the Service are not available for technical or maintenance reasons.
  • 1.6 Teamz reserves the right to correct any errors in connection with point scoring, and will not be liable for such errors.
  • 1.7 Under 18s may register an account with the Service, however the consent of a parent or guardian is required.
  • 1.8 While Teamz tries to make sure that the Service is accurate, up-to-date and free from bugs, it cannot promise that it will be. Furthermore, Teamz cannot promise that the Service will be fit or suitable for any purpose. Any reliance that you may place on the information on the Service is at your own risk.
  • 1.9 Some of the information displayed by Teamz is supplied by third party partners. Teamz has no control over third party content and is unable to guarantee the accuracy of such third party content. You agree that you access any content at your own risk.
  • 1.10 Teamz reserves the right to modify, suspend or delete User Accounts or Private Leagues with names which are deemed to be inappropriate or offensive.
  • 1.11 Teamz cannot be held responsible for any loss suffered through users’ involvement in Private Leagues where payment has been arranged between users outside of the Service.

2. User Accounts

  • 2.1 The conditions of registering an account with the Service shall be at the absolute discretion of Teamz.
  • 2.2 You agree that: you are responsible for all activities that occur under your account; you shall take all steps necessary to protect your account log in details and keep them secret; you shall not give your log in details to anyone else; if you fail to keep your login details secret, or if you share your login details with someone else (whether intentionally or unintentionally), you accept full responsibility for the consequences of this; if your account is suspended or terminated as a result of a breach of these Terms, you will not be eligible to participate in the game under any other identity; and Teamz will not be responsible to you for any loss that you suffer as a result of an unauthorised person accessing your account.
  • 2.3 Teamz reserves the right to delete your account if no activity is conducted by you in relation to the account for 180 or more days.
  • 2.4 You understand that you may lose access to any data previously associated with your account if you delete your account, or if Teamz deletes your account in accordance with these Terms.
  • 2.5 You acknowledge and agree that, other than the license granted to you by these Terms, you shall have no ownership or property interest in any of the Service. You must not copy, distribute, make available to the public or create any derivative work from the Service or any part of the Service unless Teamz has first agreed to this in writing.
  • 2.6 Teamz reserves the right to modify, suspend, terminate or delete your account without notice, if we reasonably believe that you are in material breach of these Terms.
  • 2.7 Any personal data which you submit will be processed in accordance with Teamz's Privacy Policy, which can be found here: https://www.pickmyteamz.com/privacy.
  • 2.8 Teamz may use users’ usernames for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without notice, and without fee.

3. User conduct

  • 3.1 You must comply with the laws that apply to you in the location that you access the Service from. If any laws applicable to you restrict or prohibit you from using the Service, you must comply with those legal restrictions or, if applicable, stop accessing and/or using the Service.
  • 3.2 You agree that you will not:
    • use the Service to harm anyone or to cause offence to or harass any person;
    • create more than one account per platform to access the Service;
    • use another person or entity’s email address to sign up to use the Service;
    • use the Service for fraudulent or abusive purposes (including, without limitation, by using the Service to
    • impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person, entity or the Service);
    • use the Service for any commercial or business purpose or for the benefit of any third party;
    • interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks that provide the Service;
    • attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or hack any of the Service, or to defeat or overcome any of our encryption technologies or security measures;
    • 'harvest', 'scrape' or collect any information about or regarding other people that use the Service, including, but not limited to any personal data or information; or
    • use the Service in any other way not permitted by these Terms.

4. Limitation of Liability

  • 4.1 You agree that Teamz is not liable to you for any loss that you may suffer as a result of your access and use of the Service.
  • 4.2 Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot exclude in law (such as for death or personal injury) or arising under applicable laws relating to the protection of your personal information, we are not legally responsible for:
    • Any business losses you may incur.
    • Losses which were not foreseeable to you and Teamz when these Terms were formed.
    • Losses that were not caused by any breach on Teamz's part.

5. Intellectual Property

  • 5.1 The Service and all intellectual property rights in it including but not limited to any content on the Service are owned by Teamz, our licensors or both (as applicable). Intellectual property rights means rights such as: copyright, trade marks, domain names, design rights, database rights, patents and all other intellectual property rights of any kind whether or not they are registered or unregistered (anywhere in the world). We and our licensors reserve all of our and their rights in any intellectual property in connection with these Terms. This means, for example, that we and they remain owners of them and free to use them as we and they see fit.

6. General

  • 6.1 The rights and remedies set out in these Terms and Conditions are cumulative and without prejudice to any other accrued rights and remedies, whether under contract, law or otherwise.
  • 6.2 If any of these Terms and Conditions are or become illegal or unenforceable under applicable law, that part that is illegal or unenforceable shall be deemed to be removed from these Terms and Conditions.
  • 6.3 These Terms and Conditions and your relationship with Teamz is subject to and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and the courts of England and Wales, and shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute which may arise under or is connected with these Terms and Conditions.
  • 6.4 Teamz reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions, (including the other documents that refer to), at any time. Notice of any changes to the Terms will be given to users one month prior to their publication.
